What skill levels are available?

Volo welcomes every skill level, with leagues built around fun, inclusion, and community. The levels below explain what to expect and are also listed on each program page.

Super Social

Super Social leagues are for players with little to no experience who want lighthearted play and a chance to connect with others. Games are relaxed, with a focus on fun, fitness, and community rather than competition.

Recreational

Recreational leagues are also geared toward players newer to the sport or those looking for a casual environment. These leagues balance friendly competition with the opportunity to socialize and enjoy the game without the pressure of winning.

Intermediate

Intermediate leagues are for players who have some experience and want a bit more competition. Teams at this level usually care about results, have a good understanding of the rules, and bring a solid skill set to the game.

Competitive

Competitive leagues are designed for experienced players seeking the highest level of play. Games are fast paced, winning is important, and most players have significant background in the sport, whether from school, organized leagues, or consistent high level play.
